Bruno Giacosa is one of Piedmont’s most famed wine producers.

Using the Nebbiolo grape variety, it is renowned for its intensely perfumed, textured wines from the Barolo and Barbaresco appellations.

Known for incredibly high standards, Giacosa only bottle vintages that meet a certain criteria with some years like the 2006 and 2010 being sold off in bulk as they were seen to not being up to standard.
Giacosa began in the wine trade buying grapes for his father’s wines at the age of 15. Over the course of 60 years, Bruno Giacosa himself came to be recognised as one of the greatest wine makers in the world before sadly passing in 2018. Since 2006, the estate has been under the supervision of Bruno’s daughter, Bruna. Bruno’s high standards have been maintained, with the continuied commitment to producing wines of both the highest quality from both Barolo and Barbaresco.
