Atalay has been at the helm of Moncharm Wine Traders since 2012, bringing with him nearly two decades of experience in the fine wine industry. Since starting his journey in 2006, he has cultivated a deep passion for fine wine and a sharp eye for its investment potential.
As Managing Director, Atalay oversees the strategic growth of the company and ensures that every client receives exceptional service. He works closely with his team to uphold Moncharm’s core values of trust, transparency, and performance.
Away from the office, Atalay is a devoted husband and father of two. He’s a lifelong Tottenham Hotspur supporter and enjoys the tradition and tactics of test match rugby. His favourite wine? Le Petit L’Église 2008 from Pomerol, a classic expression of Bordeaux elegance.
Matthew joined Moncharm Wine Traders in 2014 and has since become an integral part of the team, leading our Private Client Sales division. With a deep-rooted passion for fine wine, Matthew specialises in curating tailored portfolios that align with each client’s individual goals, palate, and ambitions.
Beyond portfolio strategy, Matthew also hosts exclusive tasting events throughout the year, offering clients an immersive experience into the world of fine wine.
Outside of Moncharm, Matthew is a keen golfer, a loyal Arsenal supporter, and enjoys spending quality time with his family. His favourite wine? The distinctive Taurasi Paloma de Riserva 2003 from the Campania region.

Nathan has been with Moncharm Wine Traders for over a decade, playing a key role in both client advisory and strategic market research. As Head of Research and Analysis, Nathan is responsible for identifying emerging opportunities across both Old and New World regions, ensuring Moncharm clients stay ahead of fine wine market trends and build portfolios with long-term potential.
Holding the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), Nathan brings a level of financial acumen rarely found in the world of wine. His analytical mindset and sharp eye for performance indicators allow him to combine rigorous data analysis with personalised client guidance. Whether advising on a rare vintage or scouting the next regional breakout, Nathan’s work sits at the intersection of investment expertise and fine wine discovery.
Away from the world of wine, Nathan is a passionate sports enthusiast with a keen interest in horse racing, football, and golf. His favourite wine? The elegant and expressive Le Petit Cheval Blanc.
Kevin has been an integral part of Moncharm Wine Traders since 2012, bringing over a decade of expertise to his role as Client Account Manager. With a personable and consultative approach, Kevin specialises in helping private investors curate distinguished portfolios of rare and sought-after wines from the world’s most prestigious regions.
Known for his market insight, dedication, and trust-led client relationships, Kevin takes pride in guiding investors through every stage of their wine investment journey.
Outside the office, Kevin is a devoted family man and a true film aficionado. He enjoys a strategic game of chess, follows Chelsea Football Club with passion, and never misses a Grand Slam. His favourite wine is the iconic Pontet Canet 2009 from Bordeaux.
