Last Saturday, we exhibited at the Master Investor Show at the business design centre in London. Amongst more than 60 other companies showcasing their market and the services, we displayed the unique characteristics of wine investment and where we are in our cycle right now with great reception.

London Business Design Centre

The one-day event entailed speeches from billionaire investor Jim Mellon, first-class insights from JP Morgan, as well as a presentation from our very own Matthew Knight & Nathan Wilson on the ‘Thought Leadership Stage’ the video replay of which, shall be available on the Master Investor YouTube channel.

As over 4,000 entrants descended upon the stands and stages, it became quite clear that there was a pattern emerging as to why people were attending the show and it came down to three factors.

  1. Find ways to invest tax efficiently
  2. Find markets that have corrected, that are due a growth cycle
  3. Explore new markets that aren’t necessarily linked to the stock market

We were very well placed to invite people to discover how wine ticks the boxes of the above and look forward to starting the collections off for many that choose to join us.

Through the day, Moncharm offered a very popular wine tasting competition, the lucky winner shall be announced before the end of May to win a case of fine wine worth up to £1,000 (good luck to all the entrants!) To win, you had to correctly guess in order, the grape verities of three wines, one person even got them correctly just from smell alone!
